Prepare for Winter Storms
AFTER THE STORM
What To Do After A Storm:
- Continue to listen to the radio (KCBS 740 or KGO 810) or local television channels for additional instructions from emergency officials and/or local authorities.
- Avoid disaster areas and obey traffic signage and barricades.
- Be careful walking around as steps, floors, and walkways may be slippery.
- Report downed power lines to PG&E immediately.
- Throw out any foods that have come in contact with flood waters
- If your home is damaged by the storm, do not turn the gas back on yourself. Call PG&E
- Do not turn on electricity if you smell gas or if parts of your electrical system have been flooded.
